A new month, a new slew of free titles from our dear friends at Microsoft. As per usual, you'll get two titles for Xbox One and two for Xbox 360, beginning Tuesday, the first of May.
First up, we have Super Mega Baseball 2, which will be available for free through the end of May.
Then, we have the big get: starting on May 16, Xbox One owners will also be able to get Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, which is ostensibly the final Metal Gear that Hideo Kojima will ever have his hands on. You should get it, it's a great game.
In the first two weeks of may you'll have the chance to grab old-school brawler, Streets of Rage, which is part of the Sega Vintage collection. At mid-May, Streets will be swapped out for Vanquish, the sliding cover shooter that operates at a crack-head pace. Good thing about both of these titles, is they are backwards compatible, so Xbox One owners can grab 4 games this month.
You've still got about a week to grab up April's games, which are: The Witness, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and Dead Space 2.
Here are the official release dates for May:
Xbox One
Super Mega Baseball 2 (May 1-31)
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain (May 16-June 15)
Xbox 360 (backwards compatible for Xbox One)
Streets of Rage (May 1-15)
Vanquish (May 16-31)
