Team 17 has been working away on their new title, and now that pre-orders have opened up, they've dropped a new trailer to pique interest. The trailer is mainly story based, showcasing the story of Yoku, centering on how he initially came to Mokumana Island looking for a slice of the good life, soaking up the rays and delivering mail on a tropical paradise. Think about being a milkman in Hawaii, and you're close. Although, now that I think about it, I used to live in Hawaii and it's often quite warm, so the milk would probably spoil. Then again, you're the friggin milkman; it's your job to drop it off, not keep it cold afterwards. Besides, it's a union job, so good luck calling that complaint hotline, buddy!
In any event, Yoku quickly finds that all is not as peaceful as it seems. The God Slayer has risen again (the guy is incorrigible!) and has been plaguing the ancient island deity, Mokuma. Now (of course) it's all down to our pint-sized postman to save the day using a unique blend of pinball mechanics, platforming and open world exploration, in an amazing adventure to help those in need!
Yoku's Island Express up for pre-order now, available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on the 29th May 2018 for $20.
