No one is sure of the actual significance of this yet, but that isn't stopping everybody from freaking out. What could it mean? Which games could be announced? It has to be more Kingdom Hearts III, right? It has to be! It MUST BE!
Calm down, everyone. Yes, there will most likely be a bigger Kingdom Hearts announcement, but what if there isn't? Think about how bad you'll feel then? Yeah. Really bad.
Although Square Enix is at E3 with new games almost every year, they've always opted to take their announcements via Sony or Microsoft of whomever, so while it is unusual that they are doing their own showcase, we already know they have a lot to present. We already know that a more in-depth look at Shadow of the Tomb Raider is on deck, and there is an expectation that we'll see some new Final Fantasy XV DLC and we’ll likely get our first glimpse of whatever Square Enix is working on for the Switch.
What do you think? Are you betting we'll get a playable demo for the FFVII remake? Maybe a look at the long-awaited Avengers title from Crystal Dynamics? Let me know in the comments, and we'll find out when everyone else does when E3 runs from June 12 to 14.
