Why do this? Why show me something that I cannot have? It's like at those toy fairs, where they show the most amazing, epic statue of Daredevil fighting the Punisher you've ever seen, then slap a $3,000 price tag on it. Like mom holding out a cookie, and when you reach for it, she slaps your face. IF I CAN'T HAVE ONE, STOP SHOWING THEM TO ME!
Still, I suppose you do have some chance here, albeit a small one, and by small, I mean tiny. Microsoft launched this whole mess on twitter recently, announcing that they are going to give away five custom designed Black Panther Xbox One X consoles, and a couple of controllers to go with each one to celebrate the flick's digital release.
The console shows Black Panther and Killmonger on opposite sides, plus the Black Panther logo on the front of the system. It looks awesome, and you know it.
If you want to get your hands on one of them, you pretty much can't, and you have to face that. But if you want to live in denial, be my guest: You have until May 29 at 11:59 PM EDT to enter the contest here. Don't come crying to me all weepy when you don't win though, or i'll slap your face like mom withholding a cookie.
Black Panther is out on digital HD now, and will release on Blu Ray and DVD May 15th.
