Omen of Sorrow is one of the stranger fighters out there these days, and if you haven't heard of it, you should check it out, because the theme and characters are super unique in a pretty overstuffed genre. A horror themed four-button fighting game, Omen of Sorrow features 12 iconic creatures inspired by dark European myths, like hunchbacks, vampires and werewolves. It's a cool idea, and the setting is appropriately grim-looking, all dark castles and dank passageways to do your fighting in. Now, you can take your foes down with a hunchback, because they just added friggin Quasimodo to the roster!
Quasimodo is all about guarding the ''book of tears,'' a powerful artifact that everyone wants to get their hands on, and he's guarding it with brute strength, what appears to be a metal hand, hooks, wall jumps, and stage modifying powers will severely restrain his opponent's options during combat. Quasi made a promise to watch over the book, so he's got a personal stake in this, since the tome was entrusted to him by the only person that cared or loved him.
A definitive release date hasn't been announced yet, but the studio has promised more info as the summer goes on.
