Called Assassin's Creed Odyssey, we don't know much about the title, and probably won't get much more until E3, this June 12-14. What we do have, friends and neighbors, are rumors.
According to Kotaku's source, the game will take place in ancient Greece, which has been given further weight when a picture of some official merchandise leaked earlier today.
Besides the setting (and rough time period), players will reportedly be able to choose between a male or female character, which would be a first for the franchise, and it sounds like there will be all new characters (unsurprisingly). The game is also reported to be a sequel to the previous Assassin's Creed title, Origins.
We don't have a release date yet, but sources claim that Odyssey will be released sometime before March 31st, 2019.
Stay tuned, we'll let you know more when we do, and check out the teaser below, courtesy of gamesnews' youtube channel.
