Everyone knows how great the Witcher series is, especially with the feather in the cap that was the Witcher 3. The game pushed the boundaries of RPG storytelling with an emotional and brutal final chapter for Geralt. What everyone does not know is what's next from the studio, until now.
Introducing Cyberpunk 2077, a narrative-driven, open world RPG set "in the most vibrant and dangerous metropolis of the future; Night City. You play as V, a hired gun on the rise, who just got their first serious contract. In a world of cyberenhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners and corporate life-hackers, today is your first step to becoming an urban legend."
Although we don't have any gameplay, we get a little info on what to expect and a look at the world. In Cyberpunk 2077, technology has evolved to provide people with implants, although not everything is smooth sailing as far as integration goes. There are body mods that start to rebel against "organic material" which can take the form of random people or the host-body that the implants are in, which is obviously a big problem. A special task force is created called the Psycho Squad, put in place to fight against this new threat, while class struggles further exacerbate the problems in the streets.
