Halo: Infinite is bringing back the old-school action, and it looks like the original Master Chief, Steve Downes, is returning to voice the hero, with Master Chief taking a more central role this time around. Downes began voicing the Master Chief in Halo: Combat Evolved, and continued to voice him up to Halo 5: Guardians. Now, it appears that Bungie is bringing him back.
Microsoft's E3 presentation had everyone freaking out about the next Halo adventure, which will be using an all new graphical engine, called “Slipspace,” which we know pretty much nothing about.
We do have a quote from the head of 343 Industries, Chris Lee, about Slipspace.
“We still have a long way to go until we ship the game, so things will certainly evolve between now and the release of Halo Infinite, though the engine demo is a clear indication of the direction we are heading with our next game and a great snapshot of where our tech is right now.”
Keep it here, we'll have more Halo news when it becomes available.
