After the success of the Pokémon Go community day in June, Niantic has announced the next date for the popular event, along with everything else you'll need to know to participate. The communal event will take place on the first weekend of the next month, (the 8th of July, 2018), and will feature Squirtle, one of the Pokémon OGs from the old Kanto region.
A water type specific starter will appear during the event, and it will appear frequently. As with previous Community Days, all the players will get a chance to encounter the Shiny Squirtle during the event, who will then be able to evolve into Blastoise, (the final form) before the end of the day, and will learn an exclusive move that's designed especially for the event.
Moreover, on the augmented spawns of Squirtle, Niantic is going to provide a special kind of bonus, in the form of incentives, to the participants of the event. Unlike previous previous Community Day's Lure Modules, the July Pokémon go community day will have the activated Modules lasting for almost three hours, instead of 30 minutes.
Since the Lure duration will be three hour long windows, the starting time schedule will be different for every region, and players can choose according to her/his region.
