This is one of my all time favorite shows, so I'd be willing to give this a shot, despite most mobile game tie-ins based off of TV shows sucking pretty hard.
FoxNext and East Side Games are getting the gang together for It's Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile. How do we know this? Well, FoxNext and East Side Games released this "announcement":
Charlie needs a friend.
Charlie burn money (in a dumpster) and is sad.
Please stop the fire.
Charlie is inside the phone.
So do!
In It's Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile, players will team up with the gang (Mac, Dennis, Charlie, Dee and Frank) and go through their favorite series' gags, storylines, and iconic moments while getting mixed up in new and ridiculous money-making schemes to unlock more schemes and collect fan-favorite characters.
The basic synopsis is that Frank's come into a bunch of dirty money that he needs to hide from the feds, so he recruits the gang to do his dirty work, as usual. While Mac, Dennis, and Dee bicker and backstab over laundering schemes, Frank tasks Charlie with hiding the clean cash in a safe place.
It's yet to be seen if this will be actually funny (South Park games) or pretty bush-league (Rick and Morty games). Either way, we've finally got a release date on the next season (the 13th!) of It's Always Sunny, which will air on September 5.
