If you are itching for some new multiplayer insanity (with couch co-op no less!), Iceberg Interactive and developer IguanaBee just announced that their hectic, up-to-4-player local and online multiplayer party-game, Headsnatchers, is available on Early Access today.
In Headsnatchers, you and your friends (or just random people you don't know) get into all out brawls, where the goal is to rip heads from shoulders and use them to propel you to victory. The new Early Access launch trailer will give you a look at how ridiculous things get when you have 4 players going at a time, all aiming to tear off your head.
Headsnatchers is hitting EA with six online multiplayer maps which will steadily be added to during the game's development, plus 25 local multiplayer maps right off the bat (no pun intended).
Daniel Winkler, lead developer at IguanaBee, spoke on getting the game to Early Access, and why they chose to do it this way: "It allows us to properly develop the game while listening to feedback from the community. As a multiplayer party game, we find it incredibly important that we actively involve the community to shape Headsnatchers into the best party game out there. We hope gamers young and old will enjoy humiliating their pals in the wackiest ways possible!"
Wacky indeed.
Here's a list of the key features, check out the trailer, where you can see a bunch of people playing the game and saying things like, "Oooooooh!" and "Whaaaaaat?"
