Dawn of the Breakers arrives on the Switch today, and it's bringing all the cuteness and machine guns its got to Nintendo fans. Set in modern Japan, you'll be facing off against the monstrous 'Ghouls', while juggling the responsibilities of being a high school student with the duties that accompany being a member of the superhero unit, the ‘Breakers’. Sure, that doesn't sound amazingly interesting, but hang on, there's more.
Built around an extensive single-player campaign where players battle against eccentric super-powered villains, massive monsters and, well, ghouls, you'll need to make new allies and uncover hidden plots as you progress through the main story. There's a large roster of Heroes to choose from, each with their own unique abilities and playstyles, and you can develop them into badasses by awakening their latent attributes and arming them with all kinds of armors and weapons. Once you've tricked out your hero, you can take him or her into co-op mode, with up to three players brawling against some of the game's toughest enemies. There's also a competitive ranked and unranked Team Deathmatch, where two teams of 3 players are pit against each other. Those seeking a more direct method of comparing their skill can participate in one on one Duels.
