Zero Killed focuses heavily on team cooperation and communication as you fight and adapt in the large destructible environments. Players can choose between 10 different characters, from the heavily armored Big Foot, the hacker A.N.D., to Ox, the resident explosives expert. Each has their own unique loadout, gadget, and perk, all designed to make sure there's something setting them apart from the others. To be successful in combat, you'll need to stay on your toes and predict your opponent's team's next move, and the game leans heavily on planning ahead, tactical thinking, and accurately analyzing the situation on the battlefield before deciding who from your squad should make the next move or what piece of equipment to use.

Zero Killed takes place in the Zero Zone, a region that was once vibrant and full of life, but now, is a bombed out shell, because no games take place in happy places. Perunium – a previously unknown, superconductive element – was discovered in the area, and marked the fast and presumably inevitable collapse of the entire territory. Unsurprisingly, governments and corporations are still all about the cheddar, so they bypassed a few regulations and basically starting excavating the new element without any  safety regulations, destroying the environment in the process. Sounds pretty familiar, right? Eventually, the powers that be forbade any additional Perunium acquisition, evacuating all citizens, the land was declared neutral and left in ruins.

Before long, illegal miners to appear, and a "quiet war" began between the main economic powers, and the war was kept under the radar, so the government wouldn't have to admit that they'd completely lost control of the zone, and journalists belittled the whole thing, reporting "zero killed". With the public eye turned away, the scavengers who remained in the Zone started calling themselves "Zeros": and a few years later, only professional Zeros remain in the Zone.
eople whose lives are a dime a dozen, their deaths not even counted as casualties.

Zero Killed is headed to Steam September of this year.
