Vampyr, Dontnod Entertainment's narrative-driven, vampiric action-RPG set in 1918 London is getting an interesting content update which will arrive later this summer on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. This will include two new game difficulty modes aimed at adding replayability for players who are looking to stretch the game, and more options for newcomers.
Besides delivering a bunch of optimization tweaks, the upcoming update will introduce a 'Story' mode that makes combat easier, and a cranked-up, more challenging Hard mode for gamers who breezed through the first time. The Story mode places a greater focus on narrative, allowing players to experience Dr. Reid's journey with less challenging combat. On the other end of the scale, Hard mode makes combat much more difficult. In addition to a ramped up AI, Players will receive less experience from killing enemies, which will force players to rely even more on the citizens wandering the streets and the relationships you form with them.
