Performance Designed Products, or PDP for brevity's sake, just showed off their three new Gamecube-esque controllers, and everyone should be pumped. The Gamecube gamepad comes up often in the conversation of best controller ever made, and with good reason; the thing has a fit that won't quit, offered a new way to shape and place buttons, and featured pressure sensitive triggers that are now the industry standard.
Each controller pays tribute to the big three, as it were, with an embossed logo and color scheme which represents either Mario, Zelda or Pikachu. Each controller will have a customizable C-Stick, which can be also be swapped for a full-size stick, and clickable joysticks. The controllers themselves have a ten foot cord, so you can really stretch out and pretend that we live in 2002. Oh, that's right! SLAM, new controllers! Friggin SLAM!
The controllers seem like they will coincide with the release of Super Smash Bros, or at least a bit before then, so you can customize your beatdown. Super Smash Brothers Ultimate launches on December 7.
