Today, The Inner World and its successor, The Last Wind Monk will drop on the Switch, a game that subtly mimics our own tumultuous political times. You'll control the heroically named Robert, as he rolls deep with his friends Laura and Peck the pigeon, embarking on two journeys across the world of Asposia, a land in some pretty heavy social and political turmoil.
Surrounded by the endless soil and against all laws of physics, Asposia is located in an enormous hollow space, which is ventilated by three big wind fountains. Robert, a naive and cheerful novice of the last wind monastery resides here, living a simple life as a court musician, until abruptly one fountain after another runs dry and the Windgods befall peaceful Asposia. In short, S just got effed. Windgods, am I right?
Rolling with the suspiciously mysterious thief Laura, Robert hits the road to solve the secret behind the disappearance of the winds, meeting bizarre citizens and strange animals. He's got to solve puzzles, figure out what the hell is going on with Laura, and figure out what is going wrong in Asposia.
These games come pre-loaded with some accolades, with the Last Wind Monk hitting 79 on metacritic, and the Inner World winning the award for "Best German Game". Now, you can see what the fuss is all about on the Switch
