Today, the blacksmith badasses over at Man At Arms are making the tapanga machete melee weapon from PUBG!
The tapanga machete is a long and sharp metal blade with a wooden handle that is used in-game as a melee weapon. The long knife is extremely useful against unarmed and unarmored opponents, as it is capable of taking a person without armor down in one hit. The tapanga machete is the most effective (tier 2) of the sharp melee weapons, but is no substitute for a gun of course.
PUBG arrives on consoles on the 4th of September, and according to developer Bluehole, there is going to be in-game currency, both of the soft and hard variety, the latter of which is going to be called "G-Coin". People sure do love paying cash for in-game currency, he said, sarcastically.
Here's what Bluehole had to say: "G-Coin is the hard currency that will coexist with BP, which is the soft currency that's currently in the game. G-Coin is purchased with real money, while BP can be earned by playing the game."
While the rage begins to build, watch the video below and see the badasses at Man at Arms make everyone's favorite pig-sticker.
