Green Hell is a brutal struggle for survival in the Amazonian rainforest, after you awake, busted up and in trouble on an island that teems with not so friendly wildlife. Struggling to live, the player is set on a journey of human durability as the effects of solitude wear heavily on both the body and the mind. Things like hunger, thirst, infection and more factor into how long you will live in the jungle hell, and it's going to be rough going, seeing as how all you begin with is a radio.
Besides the constant struggle to live, another big part of the game is the mystery of who you are and how you got to the island in the first place, as you wake up with no real idea of what you are doing there. The team spoke with real survival experts about the situation you find yourself in, and all the crafting and healing are based on real world solutions to the problems that will confront your character.
Here's the official synopsis for the plot: You are thrown deep into the emerald and impenetrable Amazonian rain forest. The green hell. Your goal is to survive in the depths of a nightmarish environment using truly intuitive means to escape. Having only a radio at your disposal you will follow the familiar voice of a loved one through this endless and inhospitable jungle, unveiling bit by bit how you got there in the first place. What you discover will be worse than what you fought so hard against to survive.
