This latest game in the vein of Dark Souls (and soon, Code Vein) is brought to us by the good folks over at cradle games, and it definitely has some variety going for it; there are demons (daemons), space monsters, aliens and cults all vying for the opportunity to eviscerate you. Hellpoint is a dark, sci-fi action RPG set in the aftermath of a massive quantic cataclysm. You play as a mysterious, ghoulish character whose intentions are entirely determined by your decisions as you try and survive on a space colony, Irid Novo. There seems to have been some friggin about on ye ol space colony, with strange experiments, cursed rituals, and deep conspiracies going down, which probably explains all the monsters.
You can surprise your opponent by forging your very own supernatural skills using the crafting system, perform strange rituals that affect the power and resilience of your enemies, set your own checkpoints (checkpoints are limited, so you must choose when are where to use them) and traverse the open world environment. There is also a multiplayer for brawling together or against one another, and much like the Souls series, you can dedicate yourself to a cult if you so choose, which will affect in-game play.
Hellpoint will eventually release on PC in 2019.
