In Breathedge, you'll assume the role of a "simple guy with simple needs who tries to survive in the depths of deep space," and you'll need to "Explore, build, kick corpses, and poke everything with a chicken."
I gotta admit, the premise is very intriguing to me, especially since I am a sucker for humor and nonsense in my games, which it appears this title will have in spades.
Billed as an "ironic outer space survival adventure game", the title will be out on Steam on September 13, 2018. After carrying his grandpa's ashes to a galactic funeral, the protagonist finds himself in the middle of a universal conspiracy, because of course he does. He'll have to survive in outer space, uncover the aforementioned global conspiracy, save a princess and do it all while being completely normal and without a hint of special powers or prowess.
What you do have, is a hyper-advanced craft system that allows you to create a vast variety of useless objects, which you can then throw out the airlock, but fear not; there are other craftable objects that will actually aid you in the game. In addition, you can also make a bunch of junk to decorate your space station, because gamers seem to like it when they can pretend to be an interior decorator in-between murdering aliens and monsters.
The actual plot is best described by the developers themselves, so here you have it:
"[Enjoy an] intriguing plot with lots of dark jokes, cynical dialogues, an immortal chicken, a mad enemy, as well as badly animated cutscenes and other features of an excellent game. Honk! Honk! Yes, you heard that right, it's your own private car horn!"
I gotta admit, I am looking forward to this one. Check their Steam page out here, and keep an eye out for the release on the 13th of this month.
