Another Sight is a surreal fantasy adventure with steampunk elements thrown in for good measure. The setting? 1899 London, towards the end of the Victorian era, and the game is putting a fierce emphasis on culture and character, focusing on the emotional development between its two protagonists: Kit, the age-old precocious teen character, and Hodge, the not so cliche mysterious red-furred cat.
They meet in the dark, in the belly of a London Underground construction site, after Kit loses her sight when the tunnel she was exploring collapses. They team up, and begin to explore the surreal fantasy world, both together and separately, each using their own talents to make their way through the underground environments solving various puzzles; think Hodge climbing and fitting into tight spaces, and Kit doing teen stuff, probably climbing ladders and pushing things, and bitching about how everyone else has the newest iphone, so she should too. They eventually find their way into an urban fantasy realm (inspired by the works of Neil Gaiman) and encounter a hidden society made up of the world's greatest inventors and finest artistic minds, including Claude Monet, Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison and other historical cultural icons.
Another Sight has already launched on Steam and it's coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
