I am always up for some good fan remakes, and this one is pretty great, although I would have loved to see a little more action than just Snake chilling in a submarine. This remake of Metal Gear Solid's intro is done by Erasmus Brosdau, using the Unreal 4 Engine, and boy, does it look pretty. Brosdau is an art director who has worked on a fair amount of games, most notably the flawed Ryse and the better Crysis, and he used marketplace assets and rendered everything in real-time. The audio is touched up just a little, and stays pretty true to the original. A few of the shots are changed up a bit, but the whole thing is pretty faithful to the original.
