Nintendo just announced that contrary to popular belief, Luigi is alive and well, and there will be a third title in the Luigi's Mansion series, headed for the Switch. Nintendo didn't drop any details for us besides the teaser below, but the previous games were a mix of puzzling and ghostbusting, with Luigi running around terrified the whole time, trying to find and suck up ghosts wherever he finds them. The game is going to arrive in 2019, but aside from that, we haven't gotten any details about what changes to expect, and we don't even know if the title, Luigi's Mansion 3 is going to be the actual title (although one would assume).
Watch the trailer below, and if you want to get a feel for the series, you can check out the last Luigi's Mansion game, titled "Dark Moon," which was released for the Nintendo 3DS back in 2013.
