This game has been on my radar a while, and it's easy to see why, if you just watch the trailer. The game looks like a creepier version of Alice in Wonderland (if that's possible) and focuses hard on light and shadow while leaning into puzzles and atmosphere. The art is gorgeous, and really sets a hard tone immediately. Even their website is a bit of a puzzle in itself, and it has a weird artistic flavor all its own.
Iris.Fall comes from NEXT studio, the same people behind Death Coming, and Zodiac Interactive, the folks who published Candleman: The Complete Journey. The story concerns a girl named Iris, who, after awakening from a dream, follows a black cat into a dilapidated theater, traveling back and forth through a strange labyrinth of light and shadow. As the story unfolds, Iris begins to realize that everything in this theater seems to have some kind of hidden connection to herself.
