Revolution Software and Ravenscourt released Broken Sword 5 - the Serpent's Curse for Nintendo Switch, so it's once again, time to get your lawyer on.
Here's the skinny: It's Paris in the spring. Everyone is all lovey dovey. Then? Ka-Bang! Shots ring out from a gallery. A robbery – a murder – and as a lot of west coast rappers say, it's on once again. As usual, you'll play as intrepid lawyer George Stobbart alongside his journalist sidekick Nico Collard, following the trail of a murderous conspiracy that spans generations. A cool thing about these games are that all you can do is use your wits and logic to get yourself and your partner out of jams, so if you are looking for a shoot-em-up, you should look elsewhere. This one is all about the dome-bread.
The Switch version of the game includes full HD 1080p graphics, so it'll look good on the actual device or on the TV, and there are exclusive behind the scenes movies created especially for the Switch version, which are unlocked as play progresses. There are videos on how the story and game development progressed, and previously unreleased interviews with the Broken Sword team, if you're into that kind of thing.
This enhanced edition also has a re-imagined user interface to take advantage of the Switch functionality, so you can seamlessly switch between using the Joy-Con and touch screen play, and The CEO of Revolution software had this to say about the process and advantages of the Switch version.
