A big update just dropped for Marvel Strike Force today, and the additions are pretty damn solid, especially if you are someone who loves yourself some villainy.
Venom is first up, and it’s really no surprise, since promos, new information and ads for Tom Hardy’s Venom have recently hit a fever pitch ahead of the release. You can get your hands on Venom by completing event campaign missions and Alpha Strike raids. The raids come in three difficulty modes and players will have to use City, Global and Cosmic heroes to get it done.
You’ll also be able to add X-Men villain (and occasional friend) Mystique, in addition to Avengers foe (and really, all of humanities foe), Ultron, who had already been in the game previously, albeit as a non-playable foe. Now, players will be able to add the asshole android to their own squad and begin turning humanity to dust immediately.
In addition to the three roster upgrades, the update also introduces a new donation mechanic, where players can trade gold and power cores for Alliance credits and experience, which can net you new Stark tech and character buffs.
