FIFA 19 has never released the odds on their Ultimate Team Cards, and now that they have, it's pretty obvious why they haven't before; they are friggin terrible. We're not talking powerball bad, or even Vegas bad, but almost. Get ready to spend a LOT of money if you want a top tier squad. Or don't, and play a game from a company that respects you.
Players can use in-game currency to unlock packs of player cards through the ultimate team feature to try and snag better players to add to their roster, like Ronaldo, Messi and others. EA recently released a trailer that shows off some of the big name players available, with 23 ballers available in total. Unfortunately, the odds of getting the player you want in a given pack, most likely a player from the "Ones to Watch" category, is going to be pretty tough, according to a report by Eurogamer. According to the trailer, pulling a player from the Ones to Watch category by purchasing a premium players electrum pack is less than one percent. Yeah. 1%.
In fact, Eurogamer went further, claiming that pulling a Ones to Watch player could possibly be as low as 0.01. Look at the picture below to see what we're talking about, and remember: every time you cough up money for one of these chintzy little scams, you are telling these corporate fat-cats that this behavior is acceptable, and more, that you condone and support it.
Quit doing that, friends.
FIFA 19 is ready to try and screw you out of money for Xbox One, Switch, PS4 and PC.
