The people over at Marvel Strike Force have been teasing this for a while, and now it's been confirmed; Eddie Brock, aka Venom will be joining the rest of the pack in Marvel Strike Force, you'll choose your fighter from an impressive array of superheroes and villains, then fight alongside allies and arch-rivals in this free-to-play game for your phone or tablet. The plot is the usual superhero fare, with an assault on Earth prompting Super Heroes and Super Villains to work together to defend it! You'll assemble your ultimate squad, choosing from big league names like Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Groot, Thor, Rocket Raccoon, Loki, Elektra, Captain America and more, and then brawl it out. We got Mystique and Winter Soldier not too long ago, and now it's Venom's turn to join the fray.
Here's the skinny on Venom, according to the MSF page: Edward "Eddie" Brock Jr. was a journalist for the New York Daily Bugle and a Reporter who, in a moment of extreme anger and suffering upon being diagnosed with terminal cancer, bonded with an alien symbiote of the Klyntar race. Covering every inch of his body, the living goo grants Eddie protection against any disease - incluiding his cancer - and increased abillities, most of them similar to Spider-Man's powers. Partnered to survive, the due become the being known as Venom.
