We enjoyed Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 quite a bit when we reviewed it on PC, and thought it was a definite step up from the original title. Our reviewer praised the gameplay and graphics, but thought that the humor and writing could have been a bit better. Here's what we had to say:
"Overall, Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 is a good, if not great edition to the genre. More of everything would have been appreciated, from humor to guns and enemy types, but especially if you haven't played the first game, Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 is a great multi-player shoot-em-up."
After getting a PC, Switch and PS4 release, the 2D side-scrolling shoot-em-up is headed to the Xbox One, and it has a spiffy new launch trailer to go along with it, which breaks down a bit of the story, and gives you a good idea of the level design, animation and gameplay. The game is packed with enemies, and this time around, the game is set in war-torn Europe instead of a small city, allowing Vinnie Cannoli to shoot at soldiers, tanks and planes, in addition to the usual mobsters and zombies.
