VR is slowly improving, as game developers catch up with the technology, and this latest offering for HTC Vive and Oculus Riftis looking to make an impact, promising smooth, no-nausea movement without teleporting while popping hot rocks at your enemies. Zero Killed is going for Rainbow Six Siege style tactical gameplay, complete with PvP multiplayer in addition to the campaign. You take control of one of the Zeros, who are professional killers who have abandoned their past and broken all contact with their former employers, who hired them to illegally extract the superconductive element Petronium from the devastated territory called The Zone. Sure, it sounds like a failed James Bond plot, but something tells me the story isn't going to be the big draw here.
Focusing heavily on team cooperation and communication, players can choose between 10 different characters, from the heavily armored Big Foot, the techie A.N.D., to Ox, an ex-navy general with fondness for blowing shit up. Each character has their own loadout, unique gadget, and unique perk, so the characters play totally different from one another. You'll be moving and thinking on the fly, making quick decisions, from which character should be doing what when, to timing your ambushes and deciding when to use one of your gadgets.
Zero Killed releases on November 30th of this year.
