Using the Joy-Con controllers, you'll have to master drum lines and unique rhythms while saving the Earth from an alien invasion. This is done by creating complex musical performances and racking up millions of points using personal free-form drum lines based on more than a dozen different beats.
In addition to the base game, aspiring rockers can also get their hands on the 'Encore Pack' DLC, which adds five new characters to the game, each with their own story episode and song, which will be released the same day as the game. That's right! It's that same-day DLC everyone is so fond of! If that isn't enough, you can also get additional content by buying Gal Metal: World Tour Edition from retail stores, you guessed it, on the same day the vanilla title releases. Gal Metal is available to pre-purchase digitally on the Nintendo Switch Store on the 18th of October, 2018 and will be released on the 2nd of November 2018, alongside the 'Encore Pack' DLC. Gal Metal: World Tour Edition will be available to purchase from selected retail stores on the same date.
