In Unholy, you'll assume the role of Saidah, a mother in search of her abducted child, and just from watching the trailer, it don't look good for the baby. The game takes place on a desolate planet where the last members of the human race live in the Last City on a dying planet, so... that's not good either.
The sprawling metropolis is divided into a strict caste system, and every day, the weak live in fear of being noticed by those who belong in a higher caste. When you're not busy doing that, you'll be living in abject terror of being killed by a mysterious plague that is slowly consuming the city, which may or may not explain the maniacs and mysterious beasts that are roaming the streets at night. In short, where the hell is that baby?
Unholy's gameplay is going to be a mix of horror and stealth, and the aim is present you with a lot of choice in terms of how you tackle the game. You can sneak past the guards unnoticed or you can resort to murder, leaving behind you a trail of blood as you fall into madness, just another outcast slowly going insane on the streets, but you can also impersonate different members of society, moving unnoticed throughout crowds of upperclass... right until you're caught.
Unholy is set for release sometime in 2019.
