The newest update for Assassin's Creed Odyssey (1.05) just went live for the PS4 and Xbox One, and it includes some smaller but still necessary fixes. The patch delivers some improved stability, although in what capacity, is unknown. It's not a monster patch, clocking in at only 0.16 GB on the PS4 and 0.1 GB on the Xbox One.
Ubisoft has stated that the update has fixed a game breaking bug, which some gamers have complained about, but we haven't run into yet. The issue was causing crashes on the dashboard on both systems and this new update addresses that. The official patch notes aren't out yet, but we'll update when they become available.
In this latest entry in the series, the devs have taken a pretty decent departure from the usual, allowing you to choose your gender, customize your gear, upgrade your abilities, personalize your ship and kill many, many people. Ok, that last part is not a departure from the status quo. The world is pretty huge, and you can hike mountains, cruise on the sea, meet tons of NPCs and make decisions with branching consequences and dialogue options.
