We just wrote about the October GWENT winner, which was a big one. The tournament took place on October 13th and 14th, and had eight top-tier GWENT players fighting for dominance, with the folding money eventually going to Frederick "Freddybabes" Bird from the U.K., and now we have a video showing off some fresh gameplay plus it highlights some of the new features and changes that will be introduced in Homecoming, the largest GWENT content update yet. The video also brings up the basics of The Witcher Card Game: the round-based gameplay, the two distinct rows, unique melee and ranged card-battling mechanics, as well as some info on the deck building system.
The GWENT Masters is the official esports series of GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, where players compete for the title of GWENT World Champion, tournament prize pools and crown points. There are three tiers of official GWENT Masters events: Open, Challenger, and the grand finale World Masters tournament. GWENT Masters also involves participation in licensed tournaments, as well as an in-game Pro Ladder mode, which allows all gamers to enter the world of GWENT pros.
GWENT: The Witcher Card Game is coming out of beta on October 23rd, following the launch of the Homecoming update, and will launch on Xbox One and PS4 on December 4th.
