I am loving the premise of this game, and the gameplay looks pretty great as well, with a gimmick that might actually be fun to screw around with, instead of just being, you know, gimmicky.
The story centers around Timmy, who seems to be perpetually down on his luck. One fateful day, the Grim Reaper appears with a bit of bad news for ol' Timmy; turns out, he's going to die today, with his head cut off no less. Unfortunately, the Reaper doesn't give Timmy the who, what, where, when or why, instead just letting him know that a brutal decapitation is in the works.
Timmy is obviously pretty unenthusiastic about this turn of events, since he has always dreamed of dying peacefully in bed with no drama, and preferably with his head attached. The game takes place on this final day of his life, as Timmy races against the clock to fulfill his life-long death dream. However, in order to reach his home, Timmy will have to avoid all the traps and obstacles that have mysteriously shown up to stop him from "cheating" death. Surprise and memorization will be the key for you to help Timmy postpone his imminent death, and get that good old fashioned inner peace.
Rage in Peace drops on Steam November 8th, and check back for our review next week.
