Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is a title that takes too long to say. We all recognize that, so let's just move on, and try to not let it ruin a good time, ok? Alright. WH40K:IM's (I know I said I was going to let it go, but even the abbreviation is too long) season one content patch lands on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One today, and it introduces a new enemy faction, the Drukhari, aka the Dark Eldar. No, not "Elder", that would be dumb. These are the Dark EldAr", so get it right.
These aren't just faceless haters either; these are real-deal, motivated assholes, with names: there's Wracks, Talos and Cronos Pain Engines, Incubi and a ton more, like Kabalite Warriors to diabolical Succubi and the wizened Haemonculi, the insane flesh-sculptors, which sounds hideously awesome. These new enemies are all different, ruthless and obviously dangerous as hell.
Here's what Season One on PS4 and Xbox One has in store for you as far as additions go:
- New enemy faction: Drukhari (Dark Eldar)
- New subsector: Five new systems with numerous new points of interests
- New story: Three new investigations, focusing on the Dark Eldar
- Level cap increased from 50 to 70
- New achievements and trophies
Seasons are free content patches, and each season will introduce new enemy types, new investigations and new conflicts.
