Forgotton Anne came out on the 15th of May for most systems (PS4, Xbox One, PC), and now the Switch is catching up. An anime-style puzzle-platformer, Forgotton Anne cruises around with no health bar, no weapon, and no real inventory to speak of at all, which is a drastic change of pace from most games in the genre, and boy, it sure is pretty. Give the trailer a watch below to see what I mean.

Forgotton Anne is a seamless, animated adventure, set mostly around a hidden dimension where all mislaid items from the human world can be found, be it that sock that you're missing, the letter you'd swear you left on the table, favorite toys that went missing and more. It’s the job of the Forgotlings - creatures formed out of all of these missing items - to help the trapped Anne and her pal Master Bonku find their way home. You have to admit that Master Bonku is a rad name.

“A Nintendo Switch version was always something we had planned to bring to life, and it’s amazing that we can do this earlier than we expected,” says Alfred Nguyen, Creative Director and Co-founder of ThroughLine Games. “We think playing Forgotton Anne in handheld mode feels fantastic and should serve as a perfect match for the Nintendo Switch console’s fast expanding audience.”

This 2D cinematic adventure from ThroughLine Games’will be making it's Switch debut on November 9th, 2018.
