All kickstarters must kneel before the might of Waylanders! Gato Studio just announced that their time-travelling, fantasy RPG, The Waylanders has been fully funded at $150,000, and now, like a chunky kid at a candy store, they'd would like just a little more, in the form of some new stretch goals.
The new stretch goals include a brand new in-game scenario and three possible new companions, which should open up the combat a bit. Companions work in-game much like a companion works in real life; they are important characters that can join your party, and you can have close relationships with them that will provide hours of extra gameplay with their own character quests. The closer you become with them, the more quests you'll receive and the more important your companions will become to the gameplay experience.
You can check out the new stretch goals below, and you can watch the trailer as well to see if this is something you wanna throw some bucks at.
New Scenario - Aunes Island ($160,000)
New Companion - Heraklios ($180,000)
New Companion - Mal ($200,000)
New Companion - Khaldun ($220.000)
The Waylanders is coming to PC, but they are also committing hard to console releases as well, with more info promised to be on the way.
