Niantic and WB Games just dropped their first teaser trailer for the upcoming Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, an upcoming augmented reality (AR) mobile game that will "put magic in the hands of players worldwide".
I will admit to some skepticism, and I'll tell you why; there hasn't been a true HP movie in years and AR, much like VR, just doesn't seem to be where it needs to be to pull off anything even half as cool looking as the magic trick they do in the teaser, which isn't really even a teaser, since there is zero gameplay, or really anything at all. Watch it below and you'll see what I mean.
In Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, players will be able to explore real-world surroundings to unravel a global mystery, cast spells, and encounter fantastic beasts and iconic characters along the way. On the plus side of things, this is made by the creator's of Pokemon Go, so if you're into that, you might very well be into this. Here is the information on the site that'll give you a little more insight about the game and the world:
“Please resist the urge to panic. Traces of magic are appearing across the Muggle world without warning and in a rather chaotic manner. We worry it is only a matter of time before even the most incurious Muggles catch wind of it. We call on all witches and wizards to help contain the Calamity or risk the worst of times since You Know Who. Brush up on your spells, get your wand ready, and enlist immediately.”
“The Ministry is looking for witches and wizards willing to roll up their sleeves and volunteer to save the wizarding world from the Calamity. As a member of the Statute of Secrecy Task Force (a new task force formed in partnership between the Ministry of Magic and the International Confederation of Wizards) you will hone lightning fast wand reflexes, an ability to sniff out the faintest whiff of magical disorder from afar, and proficiency in advanced casting of multiple spells.”

This is so cool! Hope it is not trash.
