Hello Games knows that they have disappointed you. I mean, how can they not? No Man's Sky was arguably one of the most disappointing releases in the last decade or so, but now, they hope you will forgive and forget (or at least live and let live) with this new, free update, called “Visions,” which will be available for all No Man’s Sky players on Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Thursday, November 22. They are hoping that "Visions" coupled with “The Abyss” update released last month will make everyone say, "Hey! These guys are trying! We shouldn't be mad!", but we'll see if their plan works.

The New Worlds: No Man’s Sky’s “Visions” update will give players a boost in the variety and diversity of planet surfaces with millions of previously dead planets now presumably teeming with life. There are artifacts to find and collect on alien planets, and players can keep them as mementos or to display as trophies in their planetary base. So, you know... mementos.

There are also strange new creatures to be found in the galaxy, with predatory fauna and deadly flora, like carnivorous trap plants to ensnare careless travelers, and new global community missions that will allow players to share their progress and work towards a common goal. Players can discover the “Visions” universe together and unlock the Eye of the Korvax helmet, as well as other emotes and building parts, so... there's that. Go get it.

On an aesthetic level, the atmospherics and skies have been improved and small touches like rainbows and a range of in-game weather effects have been added to make the worlds more unique. Players can explore planets that contain the bones of ancient alien lifeforms, unearth the remains of fallen satellites to salvage for parts and fight against the hateful corrupted sentinel droids.

In short, there will be a lot more to do this time around, let me know what you think about the update in the comments.
