Energy Cycle Edge is an old-school style, puzzle-filled sequel to Sometimes You's Energy Cycle, and you can get your puzzle on this Wednesday, December 5th.

The game is a colorful, challenging title with deceptive simplicity. Energy Cycle Edge's puzzles seem quite straightforward, having you activate each of the cells in the game field, which then change the colors of the cell and any adjacent cells in a straight line. Still with me? You'll keep changing between three different colors until they all match and the puzzle is solved, and if you are completely confused, just click the video below and see the title in action.

Sure, it sounds simple, but it's tougher than you'd think, and most of the puzzles in the game are three-dimensional, which will add and extra level of challenge, since you'll have to keep an eye on the color changes on multiple layers to come up with the correct solutions. There are 44 levels in 4 different sets to keep you puzzling along, and IDM, ambient soundtrack from multiple artists which work with the colors and sets, and there is a classic cells mode for those who want a throwback experience.

If you're looking to puzzle it up, the game launches Wednesday, December 5 for Xbox One, Playstation 4, Playstation Vita and Nintendo Switch.
