We keep writing about the upcoming new Smash Brothers, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, from college football gameday mashups to the upcoming roster, which, unsurprisingly is the largest in the game's history.
Now, thanks to the pre-order page on the nintendo eshop, we've got the download size, which is about 400 mbs bigger than the biggest Smash Bros. thus far. That's surprising news, since there are more characters and arenas than ever before. According to the website, you'll need 16 gigs to download the newest iteration of the brawler, and here are the stats of previous games.
- Super Smash Bros. (Nintendo 64) – 11.95MB
- Super Smash Bros. Melee (GameCube) – 972.9MB
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) – 7.29GB
- Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS – 2.1GB
- Super Smash Bros. for Wii U – 15.6GB
