The game has only just arrived, and already there are talks (and trailers) of the DLC character packs. The video below shows off the first of five planned DLC characters, this one from Persona 5, a character named Joker who also comes with his own signature music and stage.
Although we don't know when the DLC will be out, we do know some things about Joker. Joker is the protagonist from the RPG/Dungeon Crawler/Social Sim, Persona 5. Taking place in modern-day Tokyo, Joker is sent to a school called Shujin Academy after being put on probation for an assault. Over the course of the year, Joker and other students awaken to their Persona powers, becoming a group of secret vigilantes known as the Phantom Thieves of Hearts who explore the Metaverse, a supernatural realm consisting of the physical manifestation of humanity's subconscious desires, to change malevolent intent from the hearts of adults. Weird, right? As with previous titles in the series, the party does battle with enemies known as Shadows using physical manifestations of their psyche, called Personas.
Each Smash Bros. ultimate DLC pack will cost $5.99 on their own, or you can get a bundled “Fighter’s Pack” for $24.99. Give the video below a watch to see a little more about Joker.
