We enjoyed Rad Rodgers when we reviewed it last year on the Xbox One, but thought it had some problems holding it back. An homage to classic '90s-era platformers, is about to receive a massive content update, and they're adding some popular new Heroes like Lo Wang from Shadow Warrior, Cosmo from Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure, and Duke Nukem from, well, Duke Nukem! The game's also receiving a two-player co-op mode and a versus-multiplayer mode.
Here's what our reviewer had to say when we checked the title out on Xbox One: Overall, Rad Rodgers is fun but flawed. As a love letter to the games of the past, it works, but I wished there would have been more improvements to the old-school formula besides polished graphics and the often annoying Pixelverse.
The new title has a bunch of additions, so we'll give it another go and see what the revamped game has in store for us. The update is free for everyone who already owns it on other platforms.
