These one man studio titles are starting to become more and more prevalent as the technology gets faster and easier, and we've got another one, this time from Baptiste Miny, a one man project with a very personal feel.
Claiming to be be influenced by "theology, philosophy, psychology, strong ambiences and esthetics,” every little thing that you see or hear in this upcoming point and click is a direct representation of the director's feelings, thoughts and emotions. He created it from scratch mostly by himself, including hand-drawn graphics, programming and writing.
The game centers on a prophesy of hope, with a dark twist: “When the great Evil runs on the humans, an Apostle will resurrect to liberate them.” The prophecy is passed on through the generations and is about to be fulfilled, but the Apostle Bartholomeus will face terrible and unexpected problems. Something concerning the prophesy has gone wrong and a mysterious man is trying to block the divine mission, whose motivations are unknown.
The Blind Prophet will be released next year on PC (presumably) and the game is headed to Kickstarter to scoop up your cash.
