Ubisoft just dropped the second episode of Assassin's Creed Odyssey Legacy of the First Blade, titled, "Shadow Heritage" across all available platforms today, and we've got the skinny. This is a title that needs to be about 6 words shorter; seriously, go back and read that title out loud. Even the abbreviation is too long: ACOLotFB:SH, or "Acolotfuhbshish". Come on guys...
In Shadow Heritage (I am NOT writing that entire title again), a letter from Darius leads to a mystery where the hero will combat a new threat, called The Tempest. The Tempest is a she-master of naval combat, who commands her own badass fleet with superior naval techniques and better, more deadly weaponry, and unfortunately, this salty B is coming at you with all of it.
Luckily, you aren't without your own resources. Each episode of Legacy of the First Blade will feature a new ability for every branch of the skill tree: Hunter, Warrior and Assassin. In the first episode, Hunted, we were introduced to a new Assassin ability, and in Shadow Heritage players will discover a new Hunter ability, Rapid Fire. It will allow players to rapidly shoot arrows without having to reload, and your firing speed will increase with each skill level. On top of that, this skill will work with everyone's skill set, not just the hunters.
To access Shadow Heritage, players must have completed Hunted, the first episode of Legacy of the First Blade, and the Naxos questline in Chapter 7 of the main story of the game. In addition, players must have reached a character level of at least 28 or above.
