In The Beast Inside, you play as Adam, a CIA cryptanalyst who skips out of Boston and moves to the country with his wife, Emma. His handlers are afraid they won’t be able to keep him safe there, but Adam believes he needs a peaceful place in the woodland to take a shot at military code and alter the course of the Cold War. As it turns out, they are totally right, and the place ain't peaceful at all.
In the attic, Adam finds the hidden diary of Nicolas which, once opened, carries the nightmares of the past right into the present, putting the lives of both Adam and Emma in danger, by opening up the house to some freaky shit, and a scary, seemingly oil covered tentacle root man who starts stalking him. Aiming to make a photorealistic first person horror game, A Beast Inside looks freaky as all hell, and if you don't believe it, just take a look at the trailer below, or visit the official site, here. The dude wearing a top hat and stalking the protagonist brings to mind the Nemesis monster from RE3, but we'll see if he ends up as chilling.
The Beast Inside arrives in the second half of 2019.
