Man the Guns is the newest expansion for Paradox Development Studio's strategy wargame, Hearts of Iron IV. The expansion has a ton of new detail to add to the naval title, as well as adding a bunch of new gameplay options for major democratic powers in some pretty cool ways, like new political focus trees and governments in exile.
Governments in Exile has you welcoming a government in exile to your democracy, which boosts their legitimacy in return for more manpower and elite troops fighting to free their homeland, which should work out pretty damn well for all involved; except your enemies, of course. There's also new national focuses as the Netherlands and Mexico join the fray, plus new admiral skills and traits, where you can tailor and level up your Admirals in some unexpected ways.
Add in some new ship design where you can research new components and refit older vessels, like outfitting your subs with snorkels or improved stealth, develop and deploy anti-ship mines, and take major new alternate paths, like reviving the old Confederacy to ignite a new civil war, or just head on over to the British Empire and decolonize the shit out of it. Up to you!
