Eternity: The Last Unicorn is leaning hard into classic action-RPG mechanics, which is just fine by me. The game weaves a "fantastical tale that's steeped in Norse mythology" and covers themes of immortality, because living forever, as we all know, would be super badass. The story centers on unicorns (that's right, unicorns) who long ago brought about immortality, but now, probably because mankind and elves are dicks, they are all but extinct, save one last cursed 'corn. You assume the role of Aurehen of Alfheim, who has been tasked with saving the waning immortality of her fellow elves before it evaporates completely, all while lifting the curse on the last unicorn. In short, she's got her Elven hands full.

Eternity: The Last Unicorn is trying to embrace old school RPGs hard, so obviously a fixed camera angle is the way to go. Deep skill and weapon progression is also on full display, as you explore the land of Alfheim, digging on the world's gods and mythology featuring Nordic folklore. Better brush up on your rune readings, bruh. You're going to need them. With two playable characters, (an Elf and a Viking), you'll run through 12 hours of RPG-Gameplay, with skill, weapon and ability trees.

Take a look at the trailer below, Eternity: The Last Unicorn lands on PC March 5.
