If you missed this "adventure-RPG" To the Moon the first time around, this independent adventure game was developed and published by Freebird Games, originally released for Windows in November 2011, with ports released for Mac OS X and Linux in January 2014, then later on Android and iOS in May 2017. In short, you had your chance, and now, if you missed it, that should be it. But look at you; aren't you in luck. A Nintendo Switch port is scheduled for mid-2019, and once again tells the story of two doctors granting a dying old man's last wish by working through his memories, which is about as emotional as it sounds.
Winner of Best Story in 2011, as you may imagine, this thing has been lauded for its narrative, enough so that they completely remade and ported it over to the Switch. The Nintendo Switch version is a "fully remade creation by X.D. Network, taking the original RPG Maker blueprint and precisely recreating it via Unity" so you know it's dope. The remake is going to be the first in a two-part series, and if you are into strong narratives with no violence, you got your chance now, if you got a Switch.
Give the trailer a watch and see if you're into it, To The Moon drops in the summer of '19.
